Ducati Unveils New Scrambler Concepts

The CR24I concept draws inspiration from the British Café Racer motorcycling culture of the 1960s, where riders would race against the duration of a song on a jukebox. Designed entirely within Centro Stile Ducati, the CR24I is meant to highlight the versatility of the Scrambler. Notable roadster features include a 17-inch front wheel with street-biased rubber, clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors, and a frame-mounted fairing.

This design evokes classic Ducati models like the Pantah and the 750 SS, reinterpreted for a "contemporary and post-heritage" aesthetic. The saddle can convert into a single-seater, reminiscent of 1970s "panettone" sportbike seats. The concept's color scheme is designed to appeal to enthusiasts familiar with the 1960s British rocker culture.

The RR24I concept, on the other hand, is minimalist and functional, inspired by post-apocalyptic cinema and TV. It stands in contrast to the CR24I with its focus on the essentials of motorcycling: two wheels, a tank, an engine, and handlebars. The design emphasizes exposed aluminum parts and technical details, highlighting the raw materials. The tank is devoid of covers, replaced by a frame for a tank bag to carry essentials.

The passenger seat is removable, converting into a luggage rack to underscore the adventurous spirit of the concept. At the rear, the left side case features upcycled jerry cans. The high-passage Termignoni exhaust and Pirelli Scorpion Rally tires on 18-inch front and 17-inch rear rims enhance the off-road capability of the bike, complemented by a high and short front mudguard.
