KTM Teases Plans for EICMA

Yes, the 110th anniversary EICMA show is still about four months away, but Pierer Mobility’s KTM AG has confirmed it will be there with its KTM, Husqvarna, GasGas and MV Agusta brands, while offering up some clues as to what to expect, with a combination of production motorcycle announcements and concept models.

The orange brand will present its 2025 SX-F Factory Edition motocross bikes and EXC enduro range, along with its recently updated Duke range. KTM AG says it will also present a range of adventure models “featuring innovative technologies and a host of other new features that will pique the public’s interest.”

It’s safe to assume the new products will include new Adventure models across all displacements, just like KTM did with its Duke lineup. That means we can expect an updated 390 Adventure (now with a 399cc Single replacing the previous 373cc engine), a 990 Adventure with a 947cc Parallel-Twin, and a 1390 Super Adventure with a 1350cc V-Twin. We can also expect to see KTM’s Automatic Manual Transmission, which the company recently showcased with a prototype at the Red Bull Erzbergrodeo.

For the “blue” brand, Husqvarna, KTM AG says it will present its recently revised Svartpilen and Vitpilen models, which range from 125cc to 801cc, along with its expanded travel range (i.e. the Norden 901, Norden 901 Expedition, and hopefully more, in various displacements.)

KTM AG says Husqvarna will also present an “exciting new motorcycle” that showcases the brand’s “forward-looking vision”.

GasGas

The latest brand to join KTM AG, MV Agusta (which KTM AG refers to as the “black” brand, despite its more typical red and silver colors) will present its Superveloce, F3, and Brutale models, as well as its Enduro Veloce adventure bikes.

These will be joined by a new concept model that KTM AG says “heralds a new era for the legendary Made in Italy brand.” KTM AG hints the concept looks “to the future”, which means it’s unlikely to be a retro model like the 921 S that MV Agusta showed at previous EICMA shows.

"An appearance at EICMA was long overdue,” says Florian Kecht, MV Agusta chief sales officer. “With our impressive line-up of motorcycles and the latest technologies from our four brands, it's time to return after five years with momentum and style. We want to showcase not only our latest products, but also the stories and developments behind each model. We want our stand to be a place of diversity and a total experience."

The 2024 EICMA show runs Nov. 5-10, and while it’s still a few months away, we’re sure KTM AG will offer more clues about its new models between now and then.
