Refreshed 2025 Honda Grom Announced for US
New design and accessories for fourth-generation model
American Honda announced the 2025 Grom featuring updated styling and new accessories. This marks the third redesign of the Grom, which is remarkable in the industry today, as it only debuted in 2014. The original Grom helped kick start Honda’s MiniMoto line of small two wheelers.
The fourth-generation Grom (again, we’re still wrapping our heads around that) receives a complete makeover, with entirely new bodywork. For the latest model, Honda went with sharper edges and angular lines, compared to the previous generation’s softer corners and large circular fastener holes.
While the fasteners are more subdued on the 2025 model, it continues the Grom’s tradition of customization, with the bodywork made up of four easily removable panels.
Apart from the new look, however, the 2025 Grom is very similar to the previous version. The engine remains a 123.9cc air-cooled SOHC two-valve four-stroke, with its single cylinder tilted 80° forward from vertical. It also retains the five-speed transmission and wet multiplate clutch.
The suspension is unchanged, with a 31mm inverted fork offering 4.3 inches of travel and a single rear shock with 4.1 inches of travel. A single two-piston caliper with a 220mm disc is equipped to the front wheel while the rear makes do with a single piston caliper and 190mm disc.
Honda will again offer three versions: the regular base model, an SP model fitted with an undercowl, and one equipped with an IMU-operated front wheel ABS.
For 2025, Honda added a number of new accessories, including soft luggage options.
The base model 2025 Grom is priced at $3,599 and is offered in Candy Blue, Pearl White, or Cherry Red. The Grom SP is only available in Matte Black Metallic and carries a $3,699 price tag. The Grom ABS bumps the price up to $3,799 and is only offered in Pearl White.

Ask Honda if we will get the Hornet 1000 sometime this century Dennis.
Better looking, but still needs a larger engine. I say this as somebody that owns and loves his slightly modified 2019 Honda Grom.
