Triumph Teases Scrambler 1200 Again
Triumph has released a second video teasing its new Scrambler 1200, once again reminding us it will debut on Oct. 24. Thankfully, this video is a bit longer and shows more detail than the initial teaser video.
The new video gives us a couple of good looks at the headlight, inverted forks, bash plate and high-mounted scrambler-style exhausts, though we could probably do without the J.J. Abrams-esque lens flare.
The headlight looks like the same circular LED light as Triumph’s other Bonneville 1200 models. In some markets, this includes an LED daytime running light. The instrument cluster however appears to be different from the ones used on Triumph’s other 1200cc Twins.
We also get a nice shot of the Scrambler 1200’s silhouette, which clearly illustrates the Scrambler 1200’s high ground clearance. It may be a trick of the light, but the tires look too smooth to be the ones visible from the first teaser. The spy photos that we saw in March, showed two prototypes shod with different tires, so this may indicate Triumph will have two versions of the Scrambler 1200, one offering more off-road capability and the other better prepped for staying on the asphalt.
We’ll know more when the 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 is fully revealed on Oct. 24, or earlier if Triumph releases another teaser, which is entirely likely as we still have seven more weeks to go.

Yeah.. 'cause you need 1200cc and the associated weight to scramble.. And they wonder why the motorcycle industry is in a crisis..
Love Triumph Scramblers, but I’ll be shopping it against the FTR1200....Two tasty rides. If Indian gets it right, hooboy.
