Who’s Got the Most Impressive New 2024 Models? – QotD

We’re almost entering March, and by now, most manufacturers have released their 2024 models. Your trusty MO team has been off to press launch after press launch to test some of the latest offerings, and there’s still a lot more yet to come.

It’s going to take us a while to get through all these tests, but we thought it’d be a good time to ask: Which manufacturer had the most impressive new model announcements for 2024?

Honda updated several models, but not all of those changes may be coming to America. Triumph added its first motocross bike, a new Daytona, and a couple of entry-level 400 models ( read Ryan’s review hot off the press here!) And of course, we have Harley-Davidson and their new Road Glide and Street Glide, plus BMW’s new GS, ushering some of both brand’s most iconic models into a new generation.

Personally? My vote would go to Kawasaki. It’s roster of an updated ZX-6R, the Eliminator, Z 500 and Ninja 500 stands up pretty well against the new offerings from other brands, and that’s without mentioning its electric Z E-1 and Ninja E-1, plus the first two mass produced hybrids in the Z 7 and Ninja 7 Hybrid. Electrics and hybrids have plenty of skeptics, but whatever you think about them, the fact Kawasaki is bringing them to market all at once is really impressive.

So, let us know, for our Question of the Day: Which manufacturer impressed you the most with their new 2024 models?

I think the biggest motorcycling news is Ducati and Triumph producing dirt bikes and starting pro racing teams for those bikes. Incredible investment and great for the hobby and sport of motocross.

While not brand new, the Kawasaki ZX-4RR is still one of the most interesting and exciting new motorcycles.

The Buell Super Cruiser is the one I look forward to the most. It is the most unique and would really put Harley and Indian on notice.

The Triumph 400's really have my attention. They look good, are inexpensive and the reviews are glowing. Seems too good to be true. Waiting to hear long term reliability results.

Any company that is avoiding the electric and hybrid garbage should be applauded. I have no interest in that Band-Aid technology. Also props to companies that are investing in new engines that aren't boring, parallel twins.

The small displacement motorcycle push is cool, but of course Kawasaki is leading the displacement creep again with their Ninja/Z450 AKA the 500.

I offended a Harley person. Bullseye, it's so easy.
